No sweeter or gentler women had ever lived. You touched the lives of friends and family alike, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you.

I have always admired Marys cycling achievements obtained during the 1950s and indeed she was still cycling in to her eighties! We enjoyed many chats during the three decades that I knew her and I will miss her friendship and kindness always, Steph x

I have many fond memories of spending time at Martin and Sally's with Mary and John popping over for a meal, and of their hospitality before Martin and Sally's wedding.
