Very fond memories of visiting your house every year to see the wonderful lights at Christmas used to then take my friends little boy from Switzerland to see them every year and still to this day he calls Christmas lights horners ❤️ He is now 22.

Will forever be in our memory’s and personally in my memory at christmas time when the Horners christmas lights would make it magical for so many children, including myself in Pontymister. Also people would visit from further afield and always feel very welcome ❤️ A great man!

Loverly bloke Simon remember meeting him when you and me were doing Security down Avana.

I only met Micheal a few times, he seemed to be a very gentle, quiet man who will be missed dearly by his wife Jennifer, his children and all that knew him.
He is now pain free and at peace. May God help you walk the hard road ahead. God bless you all. Cheryl and Adrian.

.Always a welcome at your home for me Mr Horner, and a cuppa. You were the first family that I remember in Risca to decorate and light their house and it was a part of my patrol to come and see them...it brightened my shift....You will be missed but remembered with a smile by me...RIP ...Xx

I have not known Simon very long he spoke of his dad with great love and how he was his rock. He new that his illness would take him at some point but this was too soon god bless you all

Thinking of you all at such a sad time, Your father was a kind caring gentleman and will be missed by many. Especially the Christmas light display and how he welcomed everyone into his home, people travelled for miles to see his wonderful display. RIP MR HORNER

I am so very sorry to hear of mikes passing, I have so many fond memories of us all growing up together and mike and Jen made Christmas so special with their home all lit up. I knew mike over 40 years ago throu his wife jen we knew her dad gerald lloyd, he was a pure gentleman and devoted husband and father, RIP mike you truly earned your wings for being a perfect human in this life it was a great honour to have known you and been a friend in bargoed we had many a laughts and even swapped many stories and even a council house back in the day, perfect rest for a perfect person

I never met your dad simon but in knowing you your dad would be very proud of you my thoughts are with you at this sad time my friend
