To you Karen, Gemma and Lewis. Seeing you all today, I know Dave would be so proud. He was so full of life it's hard to accept he's gone, it all seems so surreal. I knew Dave for many years and am very privileged to have worked with him. In the yard it was a pleasure to be late as usual and hoping the lorries weren't faulty as we left with stomachs full and no time to report a problem, instead, planning the next pit-stop. As I saw a picture of Dave today, something struck within me and I deeply regret not meeting up. He was a family man, a friend and someone who I'll never forget. Your old friend Turbo.

Many names have past us by, but some peoples faces stick with us. Always had many a word for an open ear. Quality Gentleman who will be sadly missed by many people. RIP Dave x

Dave was always loud and you always knew when he was around. The best of times spent at Chepstow DC was when the loads were delayed, it was the only time some of the guys saw each other. You needed thick skin to go into the restroom.Dave was always at the middle of any leg pulling, and I am happy to say I was verbally abused but Dave from time to time.He was a true gent and would help anyone, I am proud to say I gave him a lift to Rsca on many occasions because his partner in crime had gone home. My heart goes out to his family he was a shining star and will be missed by many ... all our love and thoughts .xxxx

There are no words to express how deep my sorrow is for you all, we all had a fab time in France and those memories will live with me forever. " What's that I like that, can I have one. "

My deepest sympathy and condolences to all the family. Dave was a great friend for over 40 years, still cannot believe I will never see his silly grin or laugh at some of the things he used to say. I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. Dave, till we meet again! x
