I will always remember Paul's wonderful sense of humour. He was a great colleague and a trustworthy friend.
My deepest Sympathy to the Family of
Paul ..... A Husband, a Father a Grandfather and a Great Grandfather a friend, to me My Godfather .
A very wise true Gentleman at the same time he had a great sense of humour. He will be missed greatly and remembered often .
I was only 2 when I met my cousin Paul at his home in Isleworth (and met our grandfather for the only time). During the war Paul was evacuated to my home in Lichfield to escape the blitz. I appreciated having a big brother to balance my four older sisters. I was very envious of his collection of shrapnel and ingenuous home-made working toys which he brought with him! After he returned home we lost contact although our parents were always in touch. About 6 year ago the link was re-established when Paul made contact through Ancestry and he and Joan were able to meet up with Marilyn and myself for several enjoyable and very memorable lunches.
We were so glad to share those times and memories and send our loving thoughts to Joan and all the family.
Paul was a colleague and friend for over 45 years. He was a cheerful character that was always upbeat and smiling. His inimitable good humour and cheerful ways will be missed by us all.
The photo above is how we all remember him full of fun and laughter. R.I.P Paul from your badminton friends.
One of the people you meet in life that is a true gentleman
Many years since IP courses together.
A wonderful man.... Fond memories of time spent with you Paul .... Always felt part of your special family.
Dearest Joan, Viv & family,
I will always recall how vibrant Paul was, with such a happy demeanour and a smile and laugh that made him seem younger than his years. He was definitely a family man and a dedicated husband and father. Joan, you and Paul were always so kind to us. The world is a poorer place without him. Our deepest sympathies are with you.
Much love to you and the family. XXX
Happy memories of Paul at the All England in Birmingham, lots of laughs along the way.
He will be missed very much.
Condolences to his Family.

I knew Paul from my time working at IBM Welwyn Garden City. He was a lovely man to work for and had a great sense of humour. My condolences go to Joan and his children.
