Cant believe you are gone , I probably drove you mad a few times in work but I did make it up shopping for your lunches ! you were a top man and an absolute gentle giant , miss you matey
We didn't get to say our goodbyes but its not goodbye its we'll see you soon.
My brother from another mother, the big cuddly bear, the one everyone turned to when then needed a shoulder to lean on... Jon you will be missed dearly and our thoughts are with Suzanne and all of your family xxx
We met in Tenerife some 20 years ago and became part of each others teenage years, writing letters to each other and spending countless hours on the phone, visiting each other when we could do. Jonathan was part of our family, a big brother to my brother and an extra teenager to my parents. The memories are endless.
Caring, funny, a bit mad around the edges, he wore his heart on his sleeve.
My heart goes out to his parents, sisters, and partner. May god bless him and keep him always.
Lizzy from Manchester Xxx
After working with Jon for the last 5 years I can honestly say he gave his all to everything he did in life. A kind and diligent bloke. His life was taken away as it was accelerating to an amazing future. Glad I got chance to say goodbye today to a totally great bloke. Rest in peace Jon x pirate Dogs for ever!
I cant quite believe this. That teenage boy who became part of our lives, so quickly and for such a long time. Who can forget those trips to Digbeth bus station to deliver you safely back to your parents. We spoke just a few short weeks ago (me telling you the best take away in our area!). You were planning to visit Nanna Fran once we were out of lockdown. So, so sad for your family, friends, partner and colleagues. Will never forget you JJ.
Today's the day we say goodbye but only til we meet again, growing up knowing you and having you as my friend will always be something I will treasure. R.I.P xx
My Heart breaks everytime I remember you are no longer with us. You saw me through some of the toughest years of my life with your love, caring and humour. No one could envelope you in a hug like you. You seemed to squeeze all the broken bits back together.
You will be hugely missed by all who ever met you.
Still cant believe this has happened. Will always remember the many years of you bragging that your one day older than me! I have many memories that will stay with me. Xxx
Jonathan was one of the funniest and kindest men I had the pleasure of knowing. He would wrap you in a big bear hug when he saw you. Thanks for all the laughs and the good times we had over the many years, RIP Jonathan, until we meet again x
Words cannot express how much I will miss Jonathan and how mortified I was to hear of his passing. The kindest, loveliest person you'd meet and a long friendship spanning 30 years. We grew up together, did paper rounds together, played football together and never argued... ever. And while life got in the way over the past few years, we'd still see each other from time to time. Rest in peace brother, we'll meet again someday and have that beer we promised each other.
