My family and I would like to thank everyone for all the kind words, cards,flowers and condolences during these last few weeks. We said goodbye to our dad yesterday under very unusual circumstances and although only 5 of us were able to attend we had a very personal goodbye ceremony at Croesyceliog crematorium. With the professionalism of Toms Funeral Services and the loving words of Father Michael Dougherty we gave my dad the best send off possible. I know if he was watching he would feel grateful and proud. My brother Allan and I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in our mum and dads for the past couple of years and for all the help and support we as a family have received from friends, family, neighbours, careers and nurses. When things are back to normal we will be holding a memorial mass at St Basil and Gwladys church and will arrange a get together for us all afterwards to say a proper goodbye. Gerald has been a lovely neighbour for many years. Our thoughts are with Cath and her family. Such a difficult time to lose a loved one. Cath has been amazing. Love and condolences from us both.

Its times to say goodbye to a very lovely man, very quiet and shy, but always with a smile that could light up any room, he had a quiet sense of humour and it had been a pleasure to have known him. Hadnt had a lot to do with him in later years, but memories of Gerald can last forever. Rest in Peace.
