Alison was the most incredibly generous, kind, caring person. She was completely devoted to family and friends. She was always happy to put others before herself and helped so many people in their time of need. Alison was hugely maternal and had a quiet determination and strength like no other. Even in failing health, she would go out of her way to help. Alison was highly regarded and loved in the community she served as a Postmistress for many years. Dearly loved by her family, she will be greatly missed by us all.

Mum we have missed you more than ever. You have a beautiful grandson, Flynn and me and Ben finally tied the knot! I know you are with us in spirit everyday, but I only wish you could be here in person. I wish Flynn could feel the warmth of your cwtches and hear the sound of your voice. He will know you, he will love you.

To my Brave and Beautiful wife Alison
You dazzled. You danced. You listened. You loved. You nurtured.
You helped. You guided. You comforted. You overcame, and you conquered.
You gave your all and you shared your life with me and our family.
You made a happy home for us to thrive in - made us who we are.
You were beautiful and amazing.
True Friend. True Love. Best Mum.
You bravely fought the pain for years, giving smiles and hiding tears.
Your time with us cut way too short left us all with broken hearts.
In our thirtieth year of marriage and our love that still exists.
It was the cruelest thing of all, to be wrenched apart like this.
Some comfort can be had from the memories we created.
And by knowing that your kind, determined soul has been set free.
To rise above, beyond the clutches, of the pain that kept you caged.
I always said you were an angel, and now an angel you became.
Be at peace and rest now darling, in the knowing that you are.
