Kathleen Blakemore

Kathleen (kath) was Born 28th Feb 1950 to Minnie, becoming a little sister to Barbara.  Kath grew and married David having three girls, Kath, Karen and Kirsty.  The family run a number of pubs in the Swansea/Bridgend area.  After seperating from David Kath and family returned to Risca and Kath became a nsurse.   Kath then met Roger and they later added to the family with Gemma and Roger and Kath then married.  The family then relocated to Aberystwyth where they bought a pub, spending 15 happy years. Roger and Kath then moved to a small village- Llangeitho where Kath continued cheffing. Kath then became ill with Cancer and they then decided to move back to Risca closer to family.  Kath was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease caused by the treatment for her Cancer.   Kath battled with her disease for nearly 10 years and finally lost that battle surrunded by her loved ones on Tue 30th Jan 2018. Sadly missed by those who loved and knew her.
