David Holmes

David was a hardworking individual who loved his family dearly. He spent most of his time giving tender loving care to his garden, where he grew all sorts of vegetables, fruit & flowers. His generosity was second to none, he would share his produce out between neighbours, friends & relatives. He was kind & gentle & a loving husband to violet and dear father to kevin. He loved holidays with his brothers & sisters when he was younger & with Jackie, Tony, robert & kirsty in later life. He loved spending time in Abertillery with the family & never failed to visit Jackie's or Kirsty's for Sunday lunch & an afternoon out. He enjoyed days out with Robert and Emma & Kirsty and Stewart & was like a grandfather to Tait. He was very independent & still driving confidently at the age of 89. He will be greatly missed by everyone, hes left a huge hole in our hearts.
